Hey, I’m JaKuna.

I started HAKUNA from a simple frustration: after 10+ years as a producer, DJ, and mixing & mastering engineer, I felt too many tools were built around features rather than the way I actually work.

After working on thousands of tracks for artists worldwide, I started building the tools I wished I had in my own sessions, focused, intuitive, and designed to solve real production problems.

Today, I work with a small development team to turn those ideas into purposeful software. Every product starts with a real problem, then gets stripped back to what actually matters.

I believe precision should feel musical. The technology underneath can be complex, but the experience should feel clear, immediate, and enjoyable.
