Terms & licence

1. Who you are dealing with

Multistage Sidechain is developed and published by TODO — nombre legal o razón social (TODO — NIF / CIF), TODO — dirección fiscal, Spain, trading as Hakuna Audio. Contact: support@hakunaaudio.com.

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy acting as merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy is the seller for the payment transaction, handles VAT and issues your invoice; the licence to use the software is granted by us under these terms.

2. Licence granted

On payment you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Multistage Sidechain on up to three computers you own or control, for personal or commercial music production, including commercial releases. No further royalty or clearance is owed on music you make with it.

3. What you may not do

• Distribute, resell, rent, lend, sublicense or share the software or your serial.
• Circumvent or remove the licensing mechanism, or help others do so.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software, except to the extent that this restriction cannot lawfully be imposed on you — in the European Union, your rights under Directive 2009/24/EC are unaffected by these terms.

4. Ownership

The software is licensed, not sold. All intellectual property in it remains ours. Music you produce with it is entirely yours.

5. Updates

Updates within the 1.x series are included at no cost. A future major version may be a separate paid product; if so, existing customers will be offered upgrade pricing. We are not obliged to keep publishing updates indefinitely, and a version you have already installed keeps working regardless.

6. Warranty and liability

The software is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and our total liability arising out of the software is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for lost work, lost recordings or lost profits.

Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer. If you buy as a consumer in the European Union, the legal conformity guarantee applies and takes precedence over anything in this section that would reduce it.

7. Termination

This licence ends if you breach it in a material way and do not put it right within 30 days of being asked. On termination you must stop using and delete the software. Sections 4 and 6 survive.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings there. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

9. Changes

We may update these terms for future purchases. The version in force when you bought is the one that governs your licence.
